Project - Scope/Solution : | Avon Park was looking to protect their firefighters from the repetitive exposure to diesel exhaust fumes and gases in their fire stations that service the 8824 residents of the City. SafeAir provided the City with a solution that meet their needs and eliminated the exposure risk. The SafeAir/Plymovent Direct Capture Exhaust Extraction system was engineered, supplied and installed to accommodate all Fire/EMS Vehicles that would be housed in the fire stations. The solution met the intent to stop having the exhaust fumes from spreading into the offices and living quarters. Avon Park is a small fire department but the city cares about the health and wellness of its employees and wanted to meet IAFF-Union requirements and Florida State Codes. |
