Project - Scope/Solution : | Lighthouse Point Fire Rescue Dept. was the first Fire Department in the State of Florida to buy a SafeAir/ Plymovent Exhaust Removal system. In 1992 (over two decade ago), Lighthouse Point Fire Department was looking to protect their 27 firefighters from the repetitive exposure to Diesel Exhaust Fumes and gases in their fire station that service the 11,000 residents of the town. SafeAir provided the town with a solution that meet their needs and eliminated the exposure risk. The SafeAir/Plymovent Direct Capture Exhaust Extraction system was engineered , supplied and installed to accommodate all Fire/ EMS Vehicles that would be housed in the fire stations. The solution met the intent of IAFF, OSHA requirements and Florida State Codes. |
